Spring is here at BBR

The trees are budding, the robins have come to visit and my chicks are hatching!  We just love this time of year! 

PRAISE REPORT!!!

We want to give a HUGE praise report. As you know we asked for you all to join us in praying for a septic system for the tiny house.

Here is our testimony – We went to Renewed Thrift Store (a Christian-owned mission-based business in Ponchatoula, La) to pick up a piece of furniture. The young man that helped us asked if we needed prayer for anything while checking out. We told him, “No, we think we are good”.  We left, went next door to pick up some groceries and the Lord spoke to David and reminded him that we did need prayer… for a septic system. We went back, and the young man prayed, and he agreed with us that God would provide. Some of his prayers were, “Lord this is your build so it’s your bill, Burning Bush Ranch needs to open to help pastors so they need a septic system.” Two days later a local man came to learn more about our ranch. He offered his company to supply the equipment and labor for the installation, we just needed to buy the supplies. We were ecstatic and praising God, but He (God) wasn’t done yet. You see we had all been praying for one system for the tiny house, however to open the ranch and all three guesthouses we needed two systems in place.  A week later a dear friend offered to pay for all the materials for both septic systems – THAT’S OUR GOD!  We prayed for one and He supplied two systems (completely paid for and installed), which means all guesthouses now are hooked up!  

Progress

Things are moving quickly. We are ready to start renovations on Ruby Lane. In fact, again God has provided. Someone generously donated all the furnishings for the Ruby Lane House. It’s going to be beautiful, but we need to renovate it first! Lots of cosmetic work to be done. We will be busy bees for the next few months. If you would like to help with the remodel or help with expenses we would appreciate it.

Our first pastor guests are arriving this month to rest, rejuvenate and receive God’s revelation. Thank you all for agreeing with us. We have a renewed excitement about opening the ranch to pastors.
